Activities in agreement with the Matera Basilicata Foundation 2019

In execution to the resolution of Junta n. 91 of 27/07/2016, the Chamber of Commerce of Matera has signed an Operational Agreement with the Matera Basilicata Foundation 2019, which formalizes the activities of the , the manner in which the Parties are carried out, the expected results and the responsibilities of the Parties.In this agreement the Chamber of Commerce of Matera succeeded the Chamber of Commerce of Basilicata.

The project, for which the Basilicata Region has granted an extension of the deadlines from 31.12.2018 to 31.08.2019 and subsequent request for extension to 31.12.2019, provides for a series of information/ dissemination, scouting and incoming actions in 4 target countries (Tunisia, Bulgaria, China and Japan) considered strategic to promote and support the development of the entrepreneurial and economic fabric of the Region of Basilicata.Since the first phase launched in 2017, profitable relations have been established through the respective Italian Chambers of Commerce in Tokyo, Beijing, Tunis and Sofia.

The objectives to which the aforementioned promotional actions tend can be summarised as follows: promotion and territorial development;

• training and information;
• enhancement of cultural heritage.
