Growing Entrepreneurs

A

national initiative to support and supportself-employment andself-entrepreneurship , through targeted training and accompanying the start-up of a business.The initiative — promoted by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies, as the Managing Authority of the Youth Guarantee Programme — is designed and coordinated as a national policy.The implementation is entrusted to Unioncamere and implemented locally by the network of specialized structures of the Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture.The project Growing Entrepreneurs is funded to rely on the share of resources of the PON “Initiative Youth Employment” owned by the Managing Authority.


How to participate

To whom it is addressed

The initiative is aimed at young people who do not study, do not work and are not currently engaged in education and training (NEETs), who:

  • are between 18 and 29 years of age;
  • are enrolled in “Youth Guarantee” and are not taking advantage of any active policy measures, including paths of support and support for self-employment/self-entrepreneurship organized at regional level.

The initiative aims to accompany around 6,200 NEET young people towards the creation and start-up of new businesses.

How it works

Young people enrolled in the Youth Guarantee programme can access a self-assessment procedure of entrepreneurial aptitudes through an online test.Once you pass the test, your name will be forwarded to the Chambers of Commerce of the provinces of your interest (max. 2), i.e. you would prefer to attend your training path and Accompanying the creation of a business.You will be contacted in chronological order, based on the date of conduct of the test to start the path of “Growing Entrepreneurs”.The duration is 80 hours divided into:

  • 60 basic training activities in groups (also remotely via live streaming)
  • 20 specialist stage of accompaniment and technical assistance at a personalized level.

How long does it last

The project is active from March 2016 and will end in December 2017.During this period it will be possible to access the routes organized at territorial level by the Chambers of Commerce.

What happens next

Young people who will complete the path — and will then have drafted the business plan — will be able to apply for access to the financing of the “SelfiEmployment Fund” managed by Invitalia, under the supervision of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies.In addition, during the submission of the application for funding to the Fund, the same will be entitled to 9 additional points on the overall score!
